What President Williams Ruto talked about how the youth should work together form teams, do finance and access the loan. The Hustler Fund is an initiative to cushion the youth and women and other people doing business against vulnerabilities that come with day to day running of businesses by hardworking dedicated individuals.
Security was beefed up at the venue as there were several high profile delegates attending the event which saw opportunities for women and youth in business being increased and people doing business had an opportunity to showcase some of the items that they were selling. Other vendors included telcos Telkom Kenya which recently became a parastaatal, Airtel and Safaricom.

Buying items by Safaricom CEO Ndegwa who bought a smokie from a vendor on stage at Shs 150 as asked but the vendor could have done more with his pricing since he was only selling to one person and on stage like claiming he had notfinished paying for his equipment and Former Senator Johnson Sakaja and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua bought a shirt from another vendor at Shs 50,000
Today marked the first day of the Nairobi festival 12th of December 3022 being celebrated at the Uhuru Park which has just been opened by the Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja. He had a team of CEC, A number of people showed up to witness the event.
There were a number of sponsor for the event. Shaffie Weru was the MC for the event. Tickets were at shs 100 for adults and shs 50 for the young ones.
A large number of people turned out to show support for the function.
There was also the Lamu Festival that has been held for a while now. Probably all Counties will follow suit and have a County Festival. On billboard Octopizzo a Kenyan artist also advertised his album which is called Lamu Nights.
There are also a number of Kenyan artists who mention Nairobi in their songs for example Kenyan boy Kenyans girl by Wyre and lately a song by Mayonde my city and also Manzi wa Nairobi by Nonini.
