President William Ruto sets up the Hustler Fund at Green Park Uhuru Park

What President Williams Ruto talked about how the youth should work together form teams, do finance and access the loan. The Hustler Fund is an initiative to cushion the youth and women and other people doing business against vulnerabilities that come with day to day running of businesses by hardworking dedicated individuals.

Security was beefed up at the venue as there were several high profile delegates attending the event which saw opportunities for women and youth in business being increased and people doing business had an opportunity to showcase some of the items that they were selling. Other vendors included telcos Telkom Kenya which recently became a parastaatal, Airtel and Safaricom.

Buying items by Safaricom CEO Ndegwa who bought a smokie from a vendor on stage at Shs 150 as asked but the vendor could have done more with his pricing since he was only selling to one person and on stage  like claiming he had notfinished paying for his equipment and Former Senator Johnson Sakaja and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua bought a shirt from another vendor at Shs 50,000

Today marked the first day of the Nairobi festival 12th of December 3022 being celebrated at the Uhuru Park which has just been opened by the Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja. He had a team of CEC, A number of people showed up to witness the event.

There were a number of sponsor for the event. Shaffie Weru was the MC for the event. Tickets were at shs 100 for adults and shs 50 for the young ones.

A large number of people turned out to show support for the function.

There was also the Lamu Festival that has been held for a while now. Probably all Counties will follow suit and have a County Festival. On billboard Octopizzo a Kenyan artist also advertised his album which is called Lamu Nights.

There are also a number of Kenyan artists who mention Nairobi in their songs for example Kenyan boy Kenyans girl by Wyre and lately a song by Mayonde my city and also Manzi wa Nairobi by Nonini.

The Hustler Fund was launched this week at Green Park where a number of politicians attended including former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu , President William Ruto himself, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja Deputy President Rigathii Gachagua and there were a number of vendors including T kash, Safaricom , Family bank, KCB bank and Airtel.

Ruto ran under the UDA ticket with the slogan Kazi ni Kazi and the Hustler Movement and is trying to promote entrepreneurs in the Country the loan been given to business people for 14 days

There were performances by Femi One and the friendship song was also sung

WORLD AIDS DAY

The theme wad equality and talked to a number of people about the same and it was realized that a lot has to be done to stop AIDS in the Country just behind Covid 19 and malaria apart from other diseases caused by pathogens.

AIDS is Acquired immune Deficiency Syndrome and is caused BY HIV a virus and a test can be done testing positive means

The disease is spreading and can be got when one kisses uses a toothbrush from an infectious person

World AIDS day had different themes each year and some of the themes 

Some of the way to test for AIDS could include home tests and tests at home which can be accessed from public hospitals for free or bought at a chemist for less than Shs 500

Another option is to visit a VCT especially for the counseling.

too much corruption in the Country is slowly decreasing the economy growing at 

People are using up government funding for their own personal gain and this is affecting the citizens. A lot has to be done to tackle corruption in the country

tenders are an issues and this is making it difficult for projects to complete and also honestly hard working business people are not able to win tenders

the hr audits and ghost workers is also another issue with a lot of money that could be put to other purposes in county government going to waste and therefore hr needs to look into who they are hiring

money power are being used with out the people earnings respect because they are stealing

Government has bureaucracy and this makes it difficult to work and another issue is not feeling like working until you get a bribe
